    “Art tomorrow”

    Another tomorrow tomorrow too….

Well today was a day. That’s about it really, nothing special. It was the first day in 3 months I actually forwarded some jokes, and I got shit for it as Scott was an asshat and had his inbox with a bunch of forwards from me just sat there. If someone receives a joke from me, I get shit. If I get caught reading a joke, I get shit not whoever sent it. No fucking justice. ESPECIALLY as the manager that gave me some crap for it had sent a joke to everyone in the team. Yeesh….

I could burn the whole place down *mumble mumble* took my stapler *mumble mumble*

So Scrubs finished in the states last night. Usual spoiler warning UK peeps, skip to the next paragraph. Fucking assholes giving us a cliffhanger like that. Back in season 2 (memorable as I have the DVDs, season 1 had a kick ass end too) Cox punched Kelso in the face which had me in shocked fits of laughter. This isn’t quite as good, but my jaw did drop. EVERYONE seems to have a kid on the way, including JD. Maybe it wouldn’t shock me as much if I didn’t identify with the dude so much. Still, that would be 5 years in my future so big whoop. When is it next season?

Aaaaaaaaaand welcome back. There’s a preview of the next issue of my favourite comic, Nextwave up. Probably won’t make any sense if you don’t read it already. Warren Ellis is internet jesus, so y’all should read his shit (I know many of you do). I won’t be picking the ish up for a few weeks and I still need to get number 3. Not to mention the last two Fell issues. Sigh. Comic shop in Inverness please (proper one, not just that bit in Borders).

There is quite a chunk of Manga there. And in aut…ot….the shop formerly known as James Thin when I worked at its old location. Guessing it’s in and sells well. I never really liked the few books that I’ve read, Macfly does, but I do like a bit of the old Anime. My favourite possibly being Cowboy Bebop. Apart from being kick ass it also has fantastic music. And it’s officially the best. Me and the little Spike Spiegel that sits on my PC box are happy happy.

This game also has a bit of kick ass music, Daft Punk to be precise. It’s pretty fucking hard for a game that involves moving a spinning light bulb to avoid the falling *’s.

Road rage is a big problem. I see two major causes for it. Caravans and Sunday drivers, those old people who come out for air the one day a week when EVERYONE else can too. Add tractors and tourists to the equation and its pretty understandable. Where in the US has a bunch of tourists and old farts? Florida. Explains it all…

I have been on the interweb for around 14 years now, on and on. Not constantly either, no one can look at THAT much porn. Back then it wasn’t all pretty like it is now. No, the internets was teh ugly

I only have three words to describe this. SO FUCKING COOL! Touch screen holographic display? Count me in. Man, I really need to win the lottery…

While the geek in me has come out to play (like it ever goes away), I’m with Quint. It does seem like Lucas is giving a “be careful what you wish for” bitch slap to the fans with this. Digital remastering is perfectly fine, it doesn’t fuck with anything. It’s not added dewbacks and blaster shots. And you know what the covers look like? Get your photo editor of choice, take a picture and then sharpen/despeckle it a half dozen times. Same result, complete ass. I’m not sure about the posters they show on the page, but even the remastered covers would be good. Or the Special Edition ones cause they were GORGEOUS (and I have a funny feeling I might have them somewhere…)

2015 is a very important date. Assuming the world hasn’t ended by then it’s a year where we’ll have flying cars, hover boards and the Cubs will win the world series. I will not see Back to the Future II become a lie! Anyway, this isn’t quite that flying car but its still pretty neat. I’m sure I saw an old “world of the future” style 50’s thing that had similar stuff in it though. A car with clip on wings. Could have been a dream…

Everyone under 50 to Bush = It’s DUDETTES you fuckwit

I haven’t had my dose of the Daily Show and Colber Report today. No torrent files anywhere. *sob*

The Catholic league are cumming in their choir bo……..pants over the bad Da Vinci Code reviews. Just because a film sucks doesn’t mean you have won retards. Oh, and Gandalf has a message for you.

And I’m gonna finish with some Tom Cruise hatred. Seem to be talking about him a lot lately, in real life too. A few months/weeks/whatever ago I linked to the episode of South Park that he objected to and had taken off air so everyone could see it. Well, someone did one better. I think the article has a mistake in it, as I think it was Paramount that didn’t show it. Not sure if Channel Big Broth…..4 is showing episodes this new yet. And one a sad note I really feel sorry for Katie. And the kid. Their both gonna be pretty fucking screwed up in a few years cause of the midget wanker….

“I went to the View Firth for tea. PE and Cubs tomorrow.”

Guess the lazy hadn’t kicked in yet if I gave a crap about PE…

You ever have one of those days that technically aren’t ‘bad’ but a million little annoying things happen? That’s kind of how today was. Well, up until about 9pm anyway. Systems not working properly, jobs being total ass, minor little niggly annoyances. Oh, and I got spanged in the head with a paper airplane by accident (pretty frikkin sore too). So I was a grumpy bastard for a lot of it. Everythings cool now though. The new broadband account is working out GREAT. I’ve seen DL speeds of 100 odd quite frequently and was actually getting the full 250k a second earlier. Woo!

Yes, I’m sure your all thrilled. Oh and for some reason people are reading again. Where the hell were you lot last week? Tut tut tut…

A true Christian. Who kind of looks like Jimmy Saville crossed with the Uncle Jessie from Dukes of Hazzard.

A few American friends of mine have expressed interest in seeing Spaced, the TV show by Shaun of the Dead/Hot Fuzz creators Simon Pegg and Edgar Wright. Well, while you still have to import the DVDs there is this to look forward too. Fried gold indeed. Set the Tivo.

Speaking of which, HOT FUZZ VIDEO BLOG 8 Holy mother of fuck, wait till you see the guest in this one. I thought it was a gag for a few seconds but the motherfucker is in my country. Didn’t even call….

Speaking of Holy mother fuckers, well not really… There’s going to be some animated Hellboy hotness. Cool. Missed this one last year, either due to exploded PC’s or not bothering to look at Chud. Hope it’s good.

And over at the good movie site there’s a new Superman poster. Bit depressing really, I mean I’M pretty much as built as that guy. My enthusiasm has dipped a bit again. Dammit, I hope its half way decent. Not because I want to see more gay ass DC movies, but the first two were good flicks and there’s the tune to honour.

When I’m writing the blog I’m reminded of one thing from my childhood. Dougie Howser, MD. I was a brainiac as a kid and would loved to have been skipped a year or two. I doubt I’m anywhere NEAR smart enough to be him, but would have been pretty cool. Turns out some other kid actually is though. Meet Senor Howser, hopeful MD

Cool pics at bottom, didn’t read the story

Why did this take 5 years?! They can use the “evidence” thing all they want, pretty sure the trial hasn’t been going that long. And this does NOTHING for the conspiracy stuff. In 5 years you’d think they would do something to clean the image up. Fuck sake…

As we all know, My space is where peado’s come to find fresh new victims and kids post information about their illegal activities. And that’s it. Yes, I know I have an account but I don’t know anything about the site bar what Fox tells me to. Well, it’s also a haven for dirty stinking terrorists. So, what blog site do you guys want to meet up at when Bush called Murdoch to have the place shut down?

The church is doing their best to get some publicity off of the new Tom Hanks film, Forrest Gump 2 or whatever idk I don’t watch movies. Anyway, it’s not just the Christians. See Muslims like being all over the news. And when the Catholics start being all silly and ironic it takes the attention off. So they’re jumping on the bandwagon and offering assistance. Yay! Riots on the news AND Christians starving themselves over a FUCKING WORK OF FICTION! Well, they have been doing it for a few thousand years now….

Back in the really real world we can do this now. Pretty fucking cool really. Means it’ll take 6 months to get a shirt on the NHS though, and 12 other people will have worn it before you. Plus it will only work on a Tuesday. Great!

I’m all for Trojan virus’ that let you see peoples credit card info and the like but this is just wrong! Wondered why my hard disc was empty.

And finally, SO FUCKING COOL! Okay, so its not from the film but it still got my geek parts all tingly. This along with the VW one from a few years ago which initially made me hope for a live action movie. Byes.

Okay, what are we looking at and why are we looking at it?
Folks, this is a mirror of my blog at blog.myspace.com/therealmacgyver If your on My Space, feel free to add me and subscribe. Or keep reading here, whatever. The start in italics is from my diary when I was 9 years old. Everything else is self explanatory. Any references to posts before this can be found by visiting the aforementioned blog. OH, and the titles are always quotes from movies/TV shows (today is MST3K) and bare no relation to the content

    No frikkin idea

Well, today was an alright day. Nothing spectacular. Still quiet at work, had one of those microwave steam chicken/veg things (pretty darned good) but that’s about it. The fancy crisps were Chicken with lemon and thyme Walkers Sensations, and they taste good. The irony of Amanda’s comment will be lost on many. If your ever in Scotland I’ll give ya a hug D@ve. I’d LOVE a flying lesson you lucky lucky girl. And those were more penguin jokes than I’ve ever seen and I hope that guy gets a job.

So as I hinted yesterday I tortured myself by watching Dungeons & Dragons: Wrath of the Dragon God. A film truly worth of Mike/Joel and the bots. When you see “Lithuania casting” in the opening credits, it really is a sign to run. I didn’t hate the first film, I thought the main characters were entertaining. Not so in this film. The cast suck, the CG REALLY sucks, hell its not even all that good a quest. With a bajillion source books to draw from they could pull a hell of a lot better out of their ass. My suggestion would actually be to get some tournament winning players, sit them down for a game, tape it, fix the dialogue to be funny, make that a script THEN film it. Thankfully this is probably the end of the “franchise” though. The rough tavern they introduce the female barbarian (Ooo, that’s mixing it up!) in looks like a pleasant pub on a Sunday afternoon. And I swear to god there was a passing reference to the ghost tower of Inverness. No one, not even people from abroad, think Inverness is a fantasy sounding name…

I guess it kind of sums up the whole freedom of information thing. Films like D&D 2 should probably be burned and never seen again, but you can get them on the net. I’ve even seen the Star Wars Holiday Special thanks to it, a show so bad that George Lucas wants to find and destroy every copy. Really, it sucks balls but if you must then do a search. All I could find was a Real player version (back when I watched it), but I don’t think the quality was detrimental to Bea Arthur’s singing. Anyway, if some people have their way we won’t be able to get access to all this useless information unless they want us to. The interweb works because its not controlled, for better or for worse. There’s a petition to stop congress changing this. I’m not a united statesian so I didn’t bother signing, but the rest of you should.

They have a type of rice that can stop the squits now. Which is fitting I guess, as chances are you have it because of the curry you just ate. Ghandi’s revenge solved by the side dish. Nice. Only problem? SOYLENT RICE IS PEOPLE!!!

Yes, I may be a bit random today.

Oompa, Loompa, doopidy doo, I’ve got another message for you, Oompa Loompa doopidy dand, better be careful or you’ll lose a hand. Sad story, couldn’t resist.

Wait, what do you mean “today”? I TRY and link stuff together normally. Gits.

The first Hulk film, well, had its problems. Mainly the plot and director. And the ending. Not the B movie bit, the bit before that. BUT the Hulk himself was good when he was on screen and I had no problems with Bana’s performance. So, hopefully he’ll be in the sequel. I seem to remember hearing he had a multi picture deal, but who knows.

Ordinarily I wouldn’t link this, but I’m doing it because of an in joke I have with one of you. Smurfing smurfs

TV is pretty far up JJ Abrams ass now. Because of Lost. Should have happened a few years ago with Alias, but whatever. Seriously, the second season of that show had me jumping out of my seat at the end of every episode. I haven’t seen the last two, but will in due course. Anyway, he doesn’t have a new show but he is exec producing one set in NY about a group with interconnected lives that don’t know it, which could be cool if done right. There are two things that cause technological development, war and sex. Actually, it’s not strictly true to say that sex CAUSES developments, but when we have new technology you can bet someone will find a way to use it to distribute porn or have sex with it somehow. Maybe not nukes. Anyway, once again pron leads the way. So it’ll be about a year before normally movies catch up.
